Sifu mobile launch guide

Sifu hit iOS and Android on October 12, 2026 as a $7.99 one-time purchase with the full campaign, every free update, and the Arenas mode — here is what is actually inside.

Sifu, Sloclap's martial-arts action game, arrived on iOS and Android on October 12, 2026 — the same day on both stores — as a premium app costing $7.99 once (£6 in the UK). There is no recurring charge attached: the purchase includes the full campaign, every free update released for the game so far, and the Arenas expansion mode. This hub covers what the mobile release contains, what it costs, and the launch-day questions people are actually asking.

What $7.99 actually buys

The mobile edition is a straight premium release, not a free-to-download game with a store built into it. You pay once — $7.99 in the US, £6 in the UK — and unlock the complete game: the full campaign from the 2022 original, all of the free updates Sloclap has shipped for it, and Arenas, the wave-based expansion mode Eurogamer Sloclap. Full controller support is in from day one, which matters for a game this precise — a paired controller on a bigger screen is the comfortable way to play.

The streaming-service rumor, cleaned up

There is no Netflix version of Sifu. The mobile game has never been on Netflix. Sloclap and Eurogamer both describe the same thing: a standalone premium app published by Sloclap with Kepler Interactive, sold on the App Store and Google Play.

Here is where the rumor comes from. In February 2025, Netflix acquired the rights to a live-action Sifu film adaptation. That is a movie deal, not a game release, and people who heard the game itself was headed to a streaming catalog mixed up the film rights with the app. If a search result or a download site tells you Netflix publishes the iOS version, it is wrong. Netflix's own March 2024 lineup and December 2023 roadmap Netflix Netflix never mention Sifu.

How it compares to the 2022 original

Sifu first launched in 2022 on consoles and PC and went on to sell more than 4 million copies across platforms as of May 2025 Wikipedia. The mobile release is that game, not a spin-off or a lite version: Sloclap ships the complete campaign along with every free update and the Arenas mode inside the single purchase Sloclap.
